Mazdania Sayyidatul Maulida Successfully Entered the Top 10 East Java Language Ambassadors 2024
Surabaya, 29 April 2024 - The election of the 2024 East Javanese Language Ambassador was successfully held on 27-29 April 2024 at the East Java Provincial Language Hall and the Grand Mercure Mirama Hotel Surabaya. This activity consists of two main parts: quarantine and coronation peak. A total of 20 participants who entered the top 10 competed after passing file selection, written selection and interview selection.
Quarantine aims to equip participants with linguistic and organizational material, carry out a series of assessments, and select the best participants to join the East Java Language Ambassadors Association. At this stage, the participants' abilities are tested, especially in packaging language and public speaking speeches. After going through the quarantine period, the participants took part in the coronation peak which determined the winner of the 2024 East Java Language Ambassador. One of the participants who managed to achieve a brilliant achievement was Mazdania Sayyidatul Maulida, a student of the 2023 class of Office Administration Education Study Program, Surabaya State University, who managed to get rid of 121 other participants and enter in the Top 10 East Java Languange Ambassador 2024 and is a matter of pride for himself.
Mazdania admits that this event is very competitive and full of challenges. "East Java Language Ambassador is an embassy competition event that is very tight and difficult compared to other events because this selection is like being smart in the fields of language and literacy. I am grateful that I was able to enter the Top 10," she said. Mazdania also shared experiences about the selection journey he underwent. During the selection process, Mazdania was guided by his senior brother from the Cak and Yuk Tourism Ambassador Association, Pasuruan Regency. "Selection from the first stage to the grand final involves judges who are lecturers, practitioners, professors and people from the service who are experts in their respective fields. So, this event is really like a quiz event," she added.
Mazdania's success in reaching the Top 10 East Java Language Ambassadors 2024 is proof of its dedication and hard work in the field of language and literacy. It is hoped that this achievement can inspire other students to continue to excel and develop their abilities in various fields. The selection of the 2024 East Java Language Ambassadors is not only looking for ambassadors who have extensive linguistic knowledge, but also those who are able to become role models in society. With this achievement, Mazdania has shown that with passion and perseverance, dreams can be achieved.
