Mazdania Sayyidatul Maulida Wins 1st Runner Up in Ambassador Selection for the Faculty of Economics and Business 2023

Surabaya, 28 October 2023 - The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Surabaya State University held a Faculty Ambassador selection event which was attended by around 200 students. From such a large number of participants, only 12 students (6 pairs) succeeded in becoming part of the 2023 FEB Men's and Women's Faculty Student Activity Unit (UKM-F). This selection is unique because UKM-F PP FEB is the only faculty ambassador in Surabaya State University, which is under the auspices of UKM-F within the faculty, is no longer under the auspices of the Student Executive Board (BEM).

In this prestigious event, Mazdania Sayyidatul Maulida, a class International student of the 2023 Office Administration Education Study Program, succeeded in winning 2nd place or 1st Runner Up with her partner from the Economics Study Program. Mazdania revealed that this achievement was an extraordinary experience and fortune for him, because being part of PP-FEB had been his desire since he first became a student at FEB. "Ambassadors are not just about looking beautiful, elegant or simply perfect, but how to present themselves in front of the public by relying on the 3Bs, namely Brain, Beauty and Behavior as well as being a role model for themselves and those around them," said Mazdania.

The ambassador selection process is not easy and requires a long struggle. The participants must pass a series of tests ranging from administrative tests, written tests, interview tests, aptitude tests, quarantine, until the culmination is the grand final to compete for the champion title. Mazdania admits that competition is very tight and full of challenges, but this does not dampen his enthusiasm to give his best. This ambassador selection event is not only looking for students who are able to appear physically attractive, but also those who have good intellect and behavior. UKM-F PP FEB hopes that the winners can become ambassadors who will carry the good name of the faculty and be able to contribute positively to the campus environment and the wider community.

With this achievement, Mazdania Sayyidatul Maulida has proven that with hard work, dedication and enthusiasm, the dream of becoming a faculty ambassador can be achieved. It is hoped that its success can inspire other students to continue to excel and make the best contribution to Surabaya State University.
